I don't get a chance to read all that often, pretty busy with the kids and our new guide dog puppy. The top book on my winter reading list is:
Ghost Rider by Neal Peart

I think is sounds like an interesting book about the personal journey he underwent after a terrible sequence of events took both his wife and daughter from him.

What titles are you saving for those cold rainy days?

Edit Add:
After hearing about this book and the trajedies that lead up to it being written, I gained and new appreciation for the song "Ghost Rider" from the Vapor Trails CD. If you have never heard it, download it, it is an awesome tune.

NM, Scratch that....just buy the whole CD, it's Rush for crying out loud....there are no bad songs with Rush!

Last substantial book I read was "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance." Next book will be something like "Guns, Germs and Steel" or perhaps a good biography.

Hey DT - I have a copy of Ghost Rider if you want to borrow it.

I will want it back though, you KNOW how my mancrush is about Neil ...

and yes, it is an incredible read. He goes into great detail about a very dark period in his life ... and his descriptions of the places he sees, the thoughts through his head ... he is simply brilliant. I cannot describe how truly brilliant the man is.
