"WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. Chuck Hagel won't run for president in 2008 and will leave the Senate when his term ends in early 2009 . . ."

Hagel said he would decide by late summer whether to run for president."
Hagel voted solidly for the GOP slate during his term in the Senate, yet he was among the first to call Bush out on the Iraq war BS, the Gonzales mess and other things. If I was a conservative, I'd be looking at this guy.

Skeptical, I realize trolling is your real mission with this thread, but you have little knowledge of the subject.
Hagel has pissed off so many Nebraskans with his major movement to the left that he had no chance for reelection. Nebraskans are fed up with him. He has no support, he can't raise money.
He's done some dumb things that make people around here think he's lost it. No wonder he looks good to you.
