Democrats!

Geeze, I was beginning to worry.

They are all crooks!

Doesn't matter if they are Republican, Democrat or Independent. From the lowest City Council member all the way to the President.

Their sole purpose in life is to fill their pockets as full as they can off of our tax dollars.

Oh, I totally agree. But for a while there, it was looking like God had a pretty clear hand in bringing things that were in the dark, to light. Or punishment for a " people." Like Republicans. Or Katrina.

When DEMOCRATS get caught though, it let's me know that God is, in fact, a Libertarian.

New Jersy and Oregon.....The only 2 states in the US that you can't pump your own gas.

Hell, in NJ you can't even get eggs sunny side up or over easy.

It is illegal to serve eggs with the yolk runny.

Morons!

I think the law of not pumping your own gas is great. There's nothing better than pulling up, giving them my card, and letting them get gas on their hands, brave the elements, while I sit in my car and listen to tunes. Anytime I fill up in Washington, I realize how good we have it in Oregon.

I don't have a problem with someone pumping my gas. I agree, however I never give them my credit card. I do that part my self.

What I have a problem with is the GOVERNMENT telling me I can't.

Right, nothing like pulling up, waiting until the attendant wanders over, puts the gas in (hopefully the type you asked for; some cars actually require 91 octane), then eventually gets around to pulling the nozzle out and giving you a receipt. And let's hope they don't spill gas on your car. And let's hope they actually fill it. I once rented a car in Oregon and before returning it had them fill up the tank. At 1/4 of a tank it "clicked" and they wouldn't put anymore gas in, so I had to go to another gas station to put the final 8 gallons in.

Meanwhile, in the other 48 states I can zip up, swipe my credit card, and fill up as fast as I wish without waiting on people to do the wrong thing.

It's great that we have someone to pump our gas in Oregon; what I hate is being PROHIBITED from pumping it myself.

The remedy would be to allow people to pump their own if they want or have it pumped for them; same price. Then we'll see what the market chooses. I'd still let them pump it if I had the choice.

I totally agree. Love getting the gas pumped. I find a good station, get to know people and don't even have to ask.

Just pull up, card or cash, and go, maybe exchange greetings.

More than happy to let them pump it.

Also, just get the gas when it makes sense. Fill up, or nothing, and do it off hours. No problem.
