Seen the Zodiac movie finally- a little too long...but brought back some weird memories of growing up in the Bay Area and remembering as a kid all the stepped up security getting on the school bus because the Zodiac had threatened to blow one up! He was never caught. Any theories on what might have happened to this sick bastard? It's a shame that the case is closed.

I agree with you about the movie: a bit too long. It will also surprise people who might be expecting some kind of a thriller, which it isn't at all. It's kind of a slow, methodical investigation film (with a few intense moments here and there and good acting) which seems to slow down as it moves on. I knew that "Dirty Harry" (a favorite film) was loosely based on the Zodiac case so I was amused to see it referenced in this movie. By the way, I saw "Zodiac" at the Laurelhurst Theatre. About six months before that, I saw a revival print of "Dirty Harry" at the same theatre!!! Andrew

Thumbs up for "Zodiac" from a movie reviewer that has his thumb down for nearly 9 out of 10 movies released today.

He is probably dead, or in prison for another crime. Couple of years ago, they caught a real sicko in Kansas, who had done some horrible crimes years ago, the lack of attention finally got to him, and he started teasing hte cops, and gave them too much info, so he was caught. Its like Kack the Ripper, we will probably never know who he was, although there are many theories.
