This is not a big deal, which is why nobody cares.

I highly doubt Clinton knowingly took money from a donor she knew was tainted, after going through years of Whitewater pain. Certainly, while there is an incredible zeal to raise cash in any way possible in politics these days, Clinton more than anyone realizes how vulnerable she is to even a hint of scandal. I'll bet she is running the cleanest campaign of any of the candidates on either side.

The point I was trying to make is if this had been a Republican it would have made a post on this board within microseconds of being released.

I repeat: no chance in hell Hillary or anyone on her staff would have taken money from this guy had they thought it was tainted at all. Say what you want about her ideology, but Hillary isn't stupid and she knows better than anyone what being tainted by something like this can mean to a campaign. If you think they tried to take money they knew was tainted in hopes no one would find out, I think you are a tad naive.
