Maybe it's simply the case of having more definitive answers to settle the issues. If it were only that simple on the Politics side of the board.

I vote for that. I didn't say anything when Roger ridiculed me in the Roseburg thread, but Semoochie is one of the most historically knowledgeable, accurate and informative posters here. From Roger's resume: "Excellent people management skills. I can keep the workplace happy."

He sounds like a Beano Counter....I mean Bean Counter! ADD: Hmmmmmm I just did some looking and in the last 60 days roger has posted in 68 threads on just the radio side alone. I have posted in the same time in only 27 threads on the radio side. DAMN....I must be good and supply great info if I stop so many threads AY! ADD ADD: Beautiful weather we are having!

Jeff, I went back and read it. Sorry you took it as ridicule. It wasn't personal I was commenting how deep you went with your thought, then followed up with how some of us (usually me) add mindless light generalizations to keep things from becoming too serious. I thought you realized that with your follow up post. Same with my weather comment to DT. I thought the swipe taken at DT in another thread was a bit mean spirited. Life is too serious. The whole intent here was to add a bit of fun. Indeed Semoochie is a fantastic source of knowlege and info. Yes, too much time on my hands. The rule change was approved by the academy. I'm lost about the 5 bucks..... The only beans I count come in a can. 68 threads. Is that all? I must have missed a few while I was gone... Wow, is my resume still floating around out there? Yes, if you were to ask the people who work for me, when I actually have a job on the schedule, they would tell you that I keep their workday stress free and "happy". They do their job well, and I have no need or desire to micromanage and nitpick. I keep it fun and light, so when the time comes and I need them to stay a little later or do a little extra, it's not a problem. If any of you have ever worked for a micro-managing, nitpicking, my way or the highway type, then you can appreciate a manager who gives you the job, then let's you get it done. Yet, I do have a few who are more comfortable with me checking up on them frequently, and guiding them every step. Maybe it's a confidence issue. I truly enjoy the people on this site. This is my connection both to home, and radio. It is not my intent to offend anyone. Realize that some of my comments lose some of their playfulness in print. Don't take this thread as malicious. My apologies.

DT here......That weather swipe was aimed at notalent I thought but if it was aimed at me no worries.....I have a pretty thick skin (least that's what my better half tells me). I've learned along the way in here to run with the good and ignore everything else. And yes I also like to throw in meaningless stab's at humor "Everywhere I Roam". Hmmmmmm....isn't that a Metallica tune?

yes I meant NT who was chastised for duplicating a thought made in an earlier thread. If you get in an "I'm smarter than you" tangle, everyone is the worse off. We all have an idea of our talents and limitations. For some of us, there are times we get a point made, and other times, we attempt to make milk squirt out of people's noses. For others, it's ALL BUSINESS ALL THE TIME. No room for that light banter nonsense. Congrats to the female half of the BIG morning Show in Bloomington, Indiana who threw out 100k on The Power of 10, but still left with 10k.

This side seems to be the "All Business All The Time" side. I usually tread very lightly on this side. The other side however.....i'd like to think I am funny enough to, and know for certain that at least once, I made someone shoot PEPSI out their nose!

Radiorodent, apparently you do not love all threads equally, since your strafing run today did two important things: First of all, and with obvious purpose, your postings shoved Come Work for the BOSS to the very bottom of the radio forum. No love for that thread. Second, and most important, you insured that Semoochie will never ever be threadkilling champion again. For that, I am sure, we are all breathing a sigh of relief. We like him. You? Not so much. Now, keep a sharp eye out for the cat. :o)

It looks like RR has bumped every thread, creating the Board of the Undead Threads. To think this all was instigated by a depressed greeting card writer ... it's getting bizarro. ("Must be the wrong hat!")

If you've been away, someone posted a few words on each and every thread on the Portland Radio board. It appears his account has since been deleted.
