WASHINGTON (AP) — White House press secretary Tony Snow said Friday he'll leave sometime before the end of the Bush presidency because of financial pressures.

He declined to say when he would depart, but that, "I'm going to stay as long as I can."

The 52-year-old Snow, the father of three children, earns $168,000 as an assistant to the president but made considerably more as a conservative pundit and syndicated talk-show host on Fox News Radio. He was named press secretary on April 26, 2006.

I caught some of the Lars show on cable last night, and my only conclusion about Lars is that he is one unhappy and negative dude.

That makes him perfect as the mouthpiece for George Jr. That way the little Bush would look a lot smarter.

OK, I know the cost of living is less in Portland than it is elsewhere in the country, but this guy can't manage to live on $168K?! There are single parent families that get by on much less!
(Yes, I know the "if you make that kind of money you're not taking all of it home with you," as there's taxes, benefits, etc., but still...)

How much does it cost to be under cancer treatment, and does George Bush provide medical benefits for a person with a pre existing condition?

"does George Bush provide medical benefits for a person with a pre existing condition?"

Would that be for the cancer or the sociopathy?

Or both?

"I'm not going to be able to go the distance, but that's primarily for financial reasons." Snow said. "I've told people when my money runs out, then I've got to go."

Apparently lying for Fox Noise pays better than lying for the (p)resident.

He's still lying. His gigs were with the GOP when the first Bush was president. When that gig ended as Clinton became the President he headed to FOX.

So if the pay is bad now, it must have been bad back in 1991, yet he kept the gig.

What part of he might want to be pardoned for recent activities before Bush leaves office?
