He's pro-life, he's pro-second amendment and strong on terror...I'm liking this guy.

He also was one that admitted he doesn't believe in evolution. He seems like a nice guy and all, but when I hear that someone doesn't believe in evolution, that's a disorder that I personally can't overlook.

So far, a perfect match for Herb!

At least he does have a bit of a sense of humor. Regarding Karl Rove's resigning he said he "thinks he wants to spend more time with his banker".

"So far, a perfect match for Herb!"

Absolutely.
The THEORY of evolution is such a pathetic joke.
I like Mr. Huckabee even more now.
For now, he's my first choice.
I'll have to contribute to his campaign.

If the theory of evolution is a joke, then what is the theory of god? A good fairy tale??

You can't even call the idea of god a theory, because there is ZERO scientific evidence that any of it is true.

You want me to take your word for it without proof?

Sorry, but I don't fall for fairy tales that have been scientifically contradicted.

"...without proof?"

I gave it to you. If you want to deny it, that's your deal.

If you walk around a city, you see buildings, sculptures, lightposts. They didn't just happen. They were placed there by design. You may not know who, you may not know when, but they're there and you take it on faith they were designed.

In the same way, you see design all over this earth and it betrays a designer. Mountains, the human eye, the sun, the stars, animals.

It's way more of a stretch to put one's faith in the theory of evolution.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

You might also want to check out Psalm 14:1.

It's part of the liberal mindset, Deane.

If they can take God out of the picture, then there's only right and wrong as THEY define it.

It goes back to the Garden of Eden where the deception was that man could become like God.

The left never gave up trying.

Anthony Bourdain and Paul Prudhomme are busy with those pies. That frees her up to play hide the bootprint in your misogynist and hard to miss keester.

Herb is right, God gave us permission to turn his blessed miracles into stripmines, strip malls and strip bars. These are a few of his favorite things, right?

Huckabee sounds like a spitting contest, or a marathon Mark Twain trivia game.

Citing the bible as proof of anything is like me citing a Superman comic as proof Superman exists. I don't read the bible, nor do I read comic books, because they are both fiction. I prefer non-fiction books myself.

As for the things around us, some things are unexplainable. Smart people from many years ago figured out that the lack of an explanation for these things scares people, and out of that, religion was born to control and manipulate man. And no doubt, over the years, the fable has been embellished and exaggerated to the point that I just can't justify any of it as a rational explanation for the unexplainable.

Serious? No, but I do not believe in chains, so I was speaking softly and using a big stick to wake up the elephant. Teddy Roosevelt would be proud. He left the GOP and went Independent -- just like a few of the smart conservatives in these parts.

Huckabee is a gift to the Democrats if his wit lets the wind out of big puffy fart bags like Giuliani, and he continues to take pot-shots at the administration.

Hey Skeptical,

"What you're doing is passing judgement on people and attempting to put them in a lower class than you. God will not be pleased. Neither will Jesus.

You should leave the judging business up to God and keep your mouth shut while you're here visiting this planet. You're not God and you're no better or worse than the rest of us so F off. Believe me this is what God would like to say to you if he only could. By closing off your mind, not even God can get in."

Skeptical, Those are you're words.

Huckabee finished second in a state where the only considered frontrunner that ran finished considerably ahead in Romney. Thompson, Giulani and McCain didn't even participate, McCain calling it a "waste of time".

Therefore, I don't put much credence in it for the less-well-known candidates.

I gotta admit I like Huckabee. I don't agree with many of his positions, I just flat out like the guy as a human being.

I'm pleased for him that he got some buzz out of this little distraction.
