Hmm the right half of Bush's brain is leaving.

This does not bode well for Dubya. His top henchmen are resigning left right and center, seemingly all with some serious questions Congress wants asked of them.

I would think you, and the other 4 WPE fans here, would care.

Now if Cheney left, his WHOLE head would probably collapse. That would be cool to see!

I dont really care either, Bush isnt running for a term so Rove is old news. All it does is give the liberals here something to talk about.

I don't think this represents a material change.

He's still available. Likely still will communicate. It's not like we can find out right now anyway!

Where election matters are concerned, nothing at all has changed and his new status may actually improve his options somewhat.

I agree that his departure now means nothing. His work is done. He got Bush elected four times - a pretty phenomenal record. Now Bush is a lame duck. What else is there for him to do?

Leaving the White House gives him a chance to work for other campaigns, something he probably can't do while working for Bush.

Finally, the new cast of characters to join Dorothy on the next trip to Oz: Condi in search of a spine, Dick in search of a heart and George in need of a new brain.

Sinking ship??? The U.S.S. George W Bush is sitting at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, and it is not a submarine.
