Had a good DX on Sunday while driving in the North part of Albany. I picked up KNEB-FM 94.1 out of Scottsbluff, Nebraska for about 30 minutes with local signal quality. |

not bad! sounds like E skip to me the signals from this can be intense so strong in fact, you will have to convince yourself that the station is not local. 900 to 1000 miles is the typical distance for single hop E skip some DXers have reported seeing double and even quadruple hop openings ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 miles. Just a few years back FM and TV stations from the eastern United States and Canada were reported as being heard and seen in Europe! Got KLNE 88.7 Lexington NE, an NPR station on a car radio just last summer and it was strong it sounded like the transmitter was right here in town. |

I heard country on 94.1 briefly as well on Sunday. It faded just before 10 a.m. and I didn't catch an ID but suspected maybe Seattle's KMPS. |

Possible, I have seen tropo between where I am and Eugene frequently. On the local cable TV system Portland FM stations are carried and even RDS and HD Radio receivers will be able to get those transmissions. Also a few Eugene FM stations come in on a daily basis mainly 99.1 and 102.3 |

Does it count if I can pick up Serius in my car while following Mr. M home (who has Serius in his car) from Southern Oregon? |

My best FM DX catch was a couple of years ago. I heard 104.3 WOMC out of Detroit. |

DX must have been good all over. Here's a link to the Kansas City board where several reported hearing Florida FM's: |

94.1 KMPS was booming into Albany, Saturday afternoon, blocking out KXIX, which is usually heard in Albany. |
