...Again. If you have an over the air digital TV set or a receiver of some sort (like my Panasonic DMR-EZ27) tune to Channel 10.02, which is OPB's digital simulcast of its main analogue channel then select the alternate audio channel. It's of sooooooooo much higher fidelity than its IBAC counterpart I ranted on a while back (Remember that Kent?) and I also heard some music programming on there a week ago in stereo to boot........ OPB started it up a couple days after they started their digital simulcast on 10.02, which used to be the channel where PBS' presumably satellite-fed "Create" channel was located (it is now on 10.03, also bumping Oregon Channel to 10.04.) ------------------------------------------------- One peculiarity is on some receivers like mine, the audio channels broadcast on all OPB's digital subs indicates as "Audio 1 of 1" or in the case of 10.02, "Audio 1 of 2". Audio 2 of 2, of course is Golden Hours, but for some reason or other it reads up as the English (my receiver's default) audio channel. So when I tune to 10.02, it starts playing the Golden Hours feed by default. So, to work around this I had to switch the default audio channel setting to French (Oui! Because zee only three shannels my hreceiverr has are Inglish, Spahnish and Francais ;o) because there aren't any channels broadcasting French audio here. So doing this forces my box to tune directly to OPB's regular audio, or "Audio 1 of 2" because there's no French audio to switch to.
