In it's heyday if you were doing mornings on Z, you'd be in 6 figure territory depending on what part of the show you did.

I think it depends on your track record. If you're coming in from another top 30 market with several years of success in CHR I would bet you could get 120K plus.

You honestly think Cheap channel is paying those type of wages TODAY??? They are not, if they did, the talent would be better and they would be staying a lot longer!

I agree with Dexter. They most certainly would pay top dollar for top talent. The problem is that there isn't a lot of top talent out there. The talent pool is extremely shallow.

The talent on Z100 sounds VERY SMALL MARKET! Not like Z100's heyday where they had a powerhouse of air talent on all dayparts.

I would love to See Z100 get a Real talent on the morning show. When I mean Real talent, im talking about someone who is Really good, but THAT will never happen because they are too cheap to get any good talent. They don't want to pay the high wages to get anyone good. Bring back CK and the Bad boy Broadcast or someone like Bender on KISS in Seattle. Z100 hasn't had any good talent since they all blew out all the good air talent 6 years ago. The air talent onn Z100 is WEAK, and has been WEAK for a while now, Step it up and actually hire somebody good Cheap Channel!

Well it looks like they're not paying for local talent: A Seattle radio board is reporting T-Man from KUBE 93 is the new morning talent at the Z, thanks to syndication.

They should have done this YEARS ago. T-MAN has one of the BEST shows in the country! He not only pulls huge women numbers, but huge men numbers too! He's edgy.... he doesn't "fluff" things for girls... he doesn't hold back. Mark my words... the ratings in Portland are about to take a HUGE change. CONGRATS T-MAN, TERI, STEPHEN K, PASTY DAVE AND HOT SHOT SCOTT!!

So T man is coming to Mornings on Z100??? Its too bad they couldn't get a live and local morning show, but after having that god-awful Buckhead show, this might actually be a ratings winner. listened to T man when I was in Seattle and I have to admit he is pretty damn funny. And He is quite edgy, his humor can often times be a bit raunchy. T man might actually blow the Playhouse out of the water.
