This is GOP innovation at it's finest!

Tired of getting your ass kicked hard on those nasty blogs? Rational thinkers with passion, cramping your style, hosing up the framing and generally just asking too damn many tough questions?

Up the noise level a little. The success of FOX can be yours on command:

www.winningcampaigns.org

(clear your browser before and after you click --remember I told you so!)

I find this quite interesting actually. Diluting focus is a very effective check on people powered movements. Instead of building up defensible talking points, or perhaps learning something from those that do, we get noise and the usual, "anything to win, facts be dammed" approach typical of the GOP today.

Want to surf without significant risk to your machine?

www.vmware.com Download their browser appliance (it's Linux in a window) and check out those sites that might leave a mess. If you backup the appliance first, it's easy to just delete the tainted one, uncompress a fresh one and you are good to go.

Just FYI.

And from the Pentagon:

http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Nowhere_to_go_but_up_Pentagon_0717.html

"The new “Communications Outreach” program is the latest effort to bypass the traditional media and work directly with talk radio and bloggers. The project was originally called "Surrogates Operation" and is the brain child of former ABC executive and assistant secretary of defense for public affairs Dorrance Smith."

And people think online blogs, forums and such don't matter! We know talk radio matters. Trent Lott says so. Well, spending this money on these efforts clearly means the Internet matters too.

Who would have thought?

BTW: Kos sees 500k visits per DAY. That's on par with TV programs, and it's interactive, covers a lot more stories and filled with really smart people, just waiting for their chance to have a crack at fighting ignorance.
