99.5 "The Jewel" (KHUI) is satellite-fed. This is the Westwood One format, which was heard on Portland's "Sunny 1520" KKSN.

If you click on announcers and read the bios, it looks like they are in Honolulu. Either way, I'm sure it sounds great on FM.
Here is what John Matthews had to say in response to an email I sent:

…we’re doing phenomenally well with the music (#7 in Honolulu out of 28 stations) and believe it will continue to succeed.

This music deserves to be on FM…the older stuff is beautifully recorded. Sticking it on AM is a waste.

If you google the names of the personalities, you find identical bios at dozens of stations, plus on the syndication's website.
