We are having high level static discharge over our house right now. Really lighting everything up. Very cool to see the lightning jump around in the clouds and never come to ground. The dogs are getting a little jumpy over the thunder though! Anyone else having wild weather?

This ain't nothing. Been through some Iowa storms. But if you want it all try some typhoons. My brother lived through several when he lived in Hong Kong a few years ago.

Still DT as a kid my brother and I sat at the front door while it was open and would take in a T-storm from time to time. My kids did the same tonight.

She is really pouring the coals to it now! Tons of lightning in the clouds, loads of thunder, and no rain as of yet.

For the pdx area, mother nature is sure unloading a a heck of a lot more than the usual bit of anger. I'm thinking some of it was aimed at DD on direct order from God.

As usual, the storms missed liberal Eugene. I think there is a permanent cloud directly over Springfield though.
