I haven't listened to KLOO in awhile, but when I turned it on last week, it seemed that they expanded their playlist....and of course, now I cannot remember some of the songs I heard. Anyone want to shed any light on this? |

They have evolved to some newer old songs over the last year or two, and they have a "New Music Tuesday" where they sprinkle in a few recent AAA songs. |

I kind of like the old stuff, personally. |

Change is good! Radio stations that JUST play the Classics get STALE QUICK!!! I think stations like K-hits are going to run into problems because there is only so much music you can play from the 60's and 70's. While I agree that 2 decades is a lot of music, BUT with all this research crap you won't hear a lot of the deeper tracks! |

106.3 KLOO-FM is a Classic AAA, with a few currents in the mix. |

I've liked 106.1/106.3 since they switched to Classic Rock in 1998, shortly after Earth 105's demise. They've always had a fairly broad playlist (much broader than Earth or later sister station 105.9 The River), and it's great to listen to the station and hear a song I wouldn't know they played unless I was listening. Although they don't have a perfect signal in Portland, it's great to be able to have them as another option. I'm really glad BiCoastal hasn't completely changed the format, and I hope they don't. |

I had the Ozark Mountain Daredevils album that had Jackie Blue and that song isn't on it. I lost the album but really liked it! I remember one song that went something like "If you want to get to heaven, you've got to raise a little hell". |

"If You Want To Get To Heaven" was their first hit #25. Great Song! Then they issued "Jackie Blue" #3. I still have both 45's. |

Thanks for shedding some light on the KLOO playlist. No complaints here, just an observation.... |
