Fresh, PLEASE, for the love of God USE SOME PUNCTUATIONS IN YOUR WRITING!!

Using a few UPPER CASE LETTERS occasionally wouldn't hurt either.

What y'all think?

So, izzat a Technics or a Stanton?

I have been lusting over a Technics 1200 like they sell at Beacock's for quite some time now, mainly in response to the lack of my ol' 1981 Sanyo that broke a month and a half ago.

Unrelated, but: from the picture it would also appear at times Fresh and I tend to dress similarly, although instead of Chicago Bulls I usually sport Fox Racing...............

I don't know if "djfresh" has the last laugh when he gets people to complain about his lack of proper syntax, or if he really is just that ignorant of the rules of the English language.

DJFrreSH reminds me of those one hit wonder groups. He drops one then dissappears. He rarely ever replies to any thread he starts. He's like a Hit and Run driver......never looking back to see what happens!

Add: But if your goal is to have people in the radio biz talk smack about you then I applaud him as he is doing a very Frresh job in that regard!

I guess that means he has a bright future as a promotions director - or at least a promotions intern!

Jammin has let me know that I am out of their demo. I listened to them up until last year when they started targeting a different audience. Not so much by the music but by the presentation. I guess you do what you have to do to survive.

Let me see if I understand this correctly: Jammin' is now aimed at a younger audience than before and some members of the previous audience feel too old for the new format adjustment?

To me, it sounds like Jammin is TRYING to get some older listeners listening to the station. Every time I turn on Jammin they are playing some of the early 90's rap artists like Tag Team "whoop there it is." Infact they added a full hour of flashbacks at noon where they only play the 90's rap artists. Maybe they really want to get some older listeners, or maybe they are worried about MOOOOOOVIN 1075 taking away listeners.

I was trying to go to River City last night but by the time I made it out there (about 8:00 last night) they were closed. So I will probably try there in a little bit. 'Tis only about two miles riding distance from home, where Dennis and I are right now.............

Well the u b Passe Mr Faux Moto Dude!
I get a chuckle when I look in the rear view mirror and the dude behind me is so cool and leanig so far over he looks like he's sitting in the passenger seat. The ones that scare the hell out of me though are the little old ladies that you can barely see the top's of their heads in the mirror. Good god get a booster seat and put some blocks on the pedal's for crying out loud! May as well put Qwest Dex Yellow Pages to some use!

"The ones that scare the hell out of me though are the little old ladies that you can barely see the top's of their heads in the mirror. Good god get a booster seat and put some blocks on the pedal's for crying out loud!"

On major roads like Mill/4th Plain, Burton/28th, 112th/Gher etc. I try to ride sidewalks whenever possible for that specific reason. If there's one thing that scares the crap out of this biker more than the times I have had presumably rabid stray dogs chasing me (seriously had it happen couple times, and it's a fact of nature that DOGS AND COURIERS ARE NATURAL ENEMIES!) it's when I have to ride roads and get in front of little old ladies and gentlemen who can't seem to see over the steering wheel!

I figure if I can't see them they can't see me. Don't get in front of them!!

I have almost gotten hit a coupla times by stupid-ass teenagers using text message devices while driving (and completely paying no mind to little details like "red lights" or "Walk signs" or the ever popular "Right of way") but I will save that rant for sometime else............

At least usually if I have to use the CB while driving (and I admit, the push to talk button on my mike has a thin layer of dust on it lately...) I pull over to the shoulder, or a parking lot somewhere. Unless of course I am stuck in traffic and it's obvious no-one's really going anywhere at any time soon........

His CB is mounted directly under his eight-track player with a pile of Foghat, Kiss, and Grand Funk cart's scattered on the floorboards!

Semoochie--no it doesn't, but there's an idea for the future........... ;o)

Dark--actually you are correct about the position of my CB radio in conjunction with the 8-track machine, which for the record is a 1977 Muntz Stereo player. (Not certain of the model number.) All mounted under the dashboard.

I do have a coupla Foghat carts somewhere among the mess (no back seats, they were removed to make room for bike parts, computer junk, papers, McDonalds packaging and an old broken TV set that I still wonder why I even have in there! Have Junk, Will Travel... ;o) but instead of the Kiss and Grand Funk carts I have Lake, Alice Cooper and Rolling Stones. Never even HEARD of Grand Funk until now!
