Word is that Buckethead, the Z100 Dj that has had a tough time with ratings the past couple years, was fired today.

Currently on the bottom of the front page of Radio & Records' Website:
Morning mouth Buckhead exits Clear Channel top 40 KKRZ (Z100)/Portland, Ore., after failing to come to terms with management on a new contract. No replacement has been named.

One other clarification... the name of the guy that was shown the door was Buckhead. Buckethead, who once made a guest appearance on Ground Zero w/ Clyde Lewis; is on 98Rock, Tampa, and Real Rock 101-1, Orlando, FL.

Or maybe Roger should apply for the job!

Buckhead was BY FAR one of the worst Dj's EVER on Z100!
It amazes me that they actually gave him a morning show!

He ain't posted in over two weeks. I see a DJ listed on Z100 "Oso Fresh".......is it the same guy or is our DJFrresh just a wannabe? Maybe he already applied, got hired, and they told him to shut his mouth. Easy way to shut someone up, hire them and pay them to keep their mouth shut and quit bashing them!

I think you all now realize just how wise DJFresh is.

While Buckhead was truely unlistenable, Im sure Z100 will get someone who is just as bad! Low wages for jocks= ummemorbale air talent that do NOTHING for the station. I bet most people listening to Z100 don't even realize he is gone, or they could Care less.

ISDN shows are very profitable.....

Z100 will probably throw on some syndicated show in the mornings. They are too Cheap to hire talent, and the talent they have hired lately ARE WEAK!
