I'm not a sports fan but I think many in these parts are. I'm just curious why nobody is talking bout this yet? This was a good deal right?

probably cause it was so obvious, plus they announced who they were drafting earlier in the day. Good deal? I think, yes. Always draft the best player, NOT what you need. The Blazers have made that mistake in the past, probably more than once!

Like I said I quit following these losers a while back. Maybe worthy of a fresh look now that they have cleaned house of most of the riff-raff!

They need to do some more horse trading with Miles. After that the Blazers should have a clean slate to work with.

Oden will get caught doing lines of Coke off some underage hooker in a cheap hotel. This is the failblazers ya know, I think the team is cursed.

Geez Buns, your last post was offensive, crude, out of line and blasphemous. Everyone knows a Blazer would NEVER stay in a cheap hotel! Sheesh!

Darius Miles is about as untradeable as you can get. He has some $60 million left on his deal I believe, he's coming off of microfracture knee surgery, has no desire to play, has run afoul of the law many times ... yeah, I see suitors lining up for his services! Trading Zach was a step in the right direction. They save a ton off the cap even if they keep Francis (which chances are, his contract gets bought out) and they get a good solid backup for Oden and Aldridge in Channing Frye. I take my hat off to Kevin Pritchard. Everything he has touched the last 12 months has turned to gold.
