He hasn't logged on in 8 days! I'll email him when I get home on Sunday if we don't hear from him.

I think he's either at the beach and incummunicado, or he answered Jacquel's emails and she's buried him in a shallow grave, or he's hiding from HerrB because he's worried that HerrB is coming to the beach house for 9 days and won't leave.

And why is Motozak deleted? I miss him too.

I'm also hoping to hear from Shyguy, but I left his number at home and I'm at Black Butte...I hope he's doing well after his surgery!

You can only handle so much of this place before you go crazy.

I used to post here 5-10 times a day but the place started to get repetitive with the anti bush topics.

I'd say it's a leftist heaven, but most leftists don't believe in that, either.

Merkin~
"And why is Motozak deleted? I miss him too."

Reason: computer problems.

My old handle "Motozak" was registered under my old (and now-defunct) Yahoo E Mail drawer. When I finally shut my Yahoo file down back in mid-April, Discus (the software this BBS is built on) wouldn't let me register Motozak under my new Google drawer for some odd reason or other. I don't know if it was my computer itself or the board's software or something screwey at People's PC or what...........

Ergo, the only other convenient option was to just delete my old file and start over again (hence the "2" in my handle.) It only took me about three months to actually get around to doing it!

Usually when I change E Mail servers I give people a "grace period" of a couple months to change their contact lists before I shut my old E Mail down. It's also during this period I change my sign-on data at various web sites to my new E Mail. Unfortunately some web sites are more picky about users changing their sign-on data than others.

But I'm back.

Ride tuff.

Darktemper--

Well, almost......'twas shredding with a friend on dirt bikes at our Goldendale parcel a coupla months back when a damn slash pile decided to jump out of no-where and stand in front of my bike!

Needless to say, that far away from town, cellphone coverage is practically nil. (FM radio--and to some extent MW radio--is also pretty much useless there, making a CD player or even a sat box and a decent dish a MUST-HAVE if you want music!)

I was lucky enough to somehow be able to hobble uphill to the truck, up almost (at least from the point I was at) 14 acres of forested hillside on a blown-out right knee to boot! Cellphones are practically inoperable in that area of Gdale, but thank the Lord the town has a couple people monitoring channels 9 and 15!! Took the ambulance about a good half-hour to figure out where our parcel is but I guess that's the price you pay for being that far away from civilisation.

But it's all cool....my knee is better now..........

Unfortunately two months later I can't exactly say the same for my KTM!!

I did. It gave me an error message saying my E Mail address wasn't valid (or something of that nature, anyways) considering it had been active for about two months prior!

Back in my A-Zone days (circa 2004) when I finally scrapped my old AOL E Mail file (good riddance) and went to Hotmail it didn't give me any trouble trying to change it. But then again, I believe this site was running a different (older) version of Discus at that time.

I think this time around it was my computer. I was Motozaking using my junky XP machine, so that might have been half my trouble right there. ;o)

In response to mc74 and Skep... Some of us choose to simply read, others choose to shake their heads and respond.

Hey Trix, do you find it sad that Kellogg has removed the cartoon advertisements from its boxes and the media? Do you think General Mills is next and that you will be removed from your iconic post? I'm going to miss seeing the fruit shapes, and soon seeing you on my boxes of cereal.

What else will I grow up with in the morning when I want a heaping bowlful of cereal? Maybe Kashi will come up with some sort of Japanese cartoon dinosaur for its advertisements...

Hey Dr, Chaps, Can you believe that Rice Krispees is considered a sugar cereal and will no longer be advertised on Tv??
I always considered Rice Krispees to be one of the more healthy cereals. Gone are the days of snap, Crackle, and Pop. Or what about Tucan Sam on Froot loops "follow my nose."

"Frosted Flakes, for example and Rice Krispies with Real Strawberries will still make the nutritional cut, though regular Rice Krispies will not (too much salt)."

Indeed. Maybe even get the young'uns involved in BMX! Aside from changing my blood pressure medicine that's what helped me get from 315lb down to the 240 that I am right now. (Also factor in that I stand 6'-8".)

Instead of playing "Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX" on the Play Station (or my personal favourite, in Bleem running under DOS!) get them out and have them actually DO freestyle BMX! You burn more calories that way and not just in your thumbs, or keyboard-pressing fingers. ;o)

"Can you believe that Rice Krispees is considered a sugar cereal..."

COCOA Krispies, maybe. I can see that as being logical but regular, bland Rice Krispies?

When I was younger and used to see the old reruns of Munsters (or was it Addams Family?) on Nickelodeon I did.................

This was probably ten years ago (seventh grade, Cascade Jr. High!) when we still had cable.

Even in Pre-K I was regarded as the tallest kid in class, standing about 4'6" in a class of otherwise 3'-somethingorother kids.

Merkin, 6'8" indeed and it's a damn nuisance. Makes skateboarding incredibly difficult because I also have a bum right ear which never was the same after an ear infection when I was a tot so my balance sometimes really tends to suck!

I also wear a size 15 for my boots. Not SI (centimetre) sizing by the way..................

More Infozak at:

(Just for the record, it's a portmanteau of MOTOcross and MuZAK version 2.0.)

My favourite fondue is the stuff they serve at Gustav's. Rhinelander is good, last I remember, but I haven't been there in about 15 years..........
