Well it makes sense....The Rap coming out today is CRAPOLA! Instead of rapping about Growing up in the ghetto or the hard life they had, they are rapping about Hoochie Momma's, getting laid, money, and ice around their neck.
I heard the dumbest rap song on the radio today, it was so stupid I couldn't help but laugh. It went

......."Girl shake that Laffy taffy, that laffy Taffy, girl shake that Laffy Taffy".
GIVE ME A FREAKIN BREAK!!!!! Shake that Laffy taffy????WTF????
No wonder sales of rap music has gone down the toilet.

Thats a very interesting article. I always thought that that hip/hop was the dominant sales in music, especially for kids these days.
While I've never been a huge hip hoper, the rock coming out within the last 10 years to me has been bland, stale, and just not very good. I guess rock is starting to make a comeback, which is nice, because I can't remember the last time I ran out to the record store to buy some new rock record that i heard on the radio. With established bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Velvet Revolver releasing new albums, it gives hope that the rock scene is really making a comeback.
