Bruce F. Elving, Publisher of the "FMedia!" newsletter has announced in his June issue he is suspending publication.

"Due to time constraints and computer problems I am closing this publication until January, 2008 at the earliest. There is only a 20 percent chance it will resume under my leadership. There could be a silver lining in all of this if someone else were to come forward to take over this publication--a person with computer and writing skills and with a mild interest in FM radio and related technologies. He or she could buy the publication for less than the annual profit. I'd be available to mentor."

This is sad but not a surprise. Bruce tried to sell the publication several years ago. "FMedia!" which began publication in January 1987 was an out growth of his "FM Atlas" book, now in its 20th Edition. I will miss the newsletter although not as much as I would have 10 years ago before the internet. I continued my subscription since the newsletters were like monthly time capsules. I kept every issue for that reason. "FMedia!" was also not a cheap newsletter at $75.00 a year.
