There is a new virus going around, called 'work'. If you receive any sort of 'work' at all, whether via email, internet or simply handed to you by a colleague...DO NOT OPEN IT.

Work has been circulating around our building for months and those who have been tempted to open 'work' or even look at 'work' have found that their social life is deleted and their brain ceases to function properly.

If you do encounter 'work' via email or are faced with any 'work' at all, then to purge the virus, send an email to your boss with the words 'Sorry...I'm off to the pub'. The 'work' should automatically be deleted from your brain.

If you receive 'work' in paper-document form, simply lift the document and drag the 'work' to your garbage can. Put on your coat and skip to the nearest bar with two friends and order three pints of beer.

After repeating this action 14 times, you will find that 'work' will no longer be of any relevance to you.

Send this message to everyone in your address book. If you do not have anyone in your address book, then I'm afraid the 'work' virus has already corrupted your life.

I take it...someone's a little cranky with work this week???

I had an "EYE INFUNCTION" this morning!

I just couldn't see going to work! HA

Nah.....I like were I am, although the 125 employee's I am in charge of are a pain in the ASS most days! Sometimes they don't show up, they get cranky on ya and don't do what they are supposed to, and still others show up but don't do anything and just get all BLUE in the face when you get mad at them!

I won't even talk about the end users sitting in front of them though! That's a whole different problem...."FATAL ERROR....DELETE USER"

Any chance I get to promote "work" from home I will do so. This may rub some the wrong way too, but at about 10:25am this morning I decided I needed a nap. So I left "work" (basement) and commuted upstairs (11 stairs in all) took an immediate left then immediate right and flopped back into bed for a 30 min snooze.

I'm a Mac guy. We don't get viruses.

I have been stricken by 'work.exe' to the point that I did not check in for a while. I missed you all -- some to varying degrees -- and I have been catching up on some great discussions. It looks like I missed some really spirited banter and some good sized echoes.

Hey Chris, My friend owns one of those mac MINI's and yes he got a virus. Although this guy tends to look at Porn quite often. I guess if you download enough Porn, you will eventually get a Virus, EVEN ON A MAC!
Speaking of porn, ever look on your works computer Cache or history button on what previous people have looked up??
I did this once, and boy was I ever shocked what I SAW!
So you think the guy sitting next to you in the next cubicle is your average clean cut guy with kids, yet you find out that he is the one looking at all the Beastiality sites on the work computers.

Gotta love the kind of co-worker who grabs life by the horns and leaves the stall open when he is done. Wow. Did he get the mutton at the big corporate banquet?

I cannot believe that someone like that did not clear the cache after doing crap like that! What's more scary is a company that does not employ web filters to prevent that sort of liability problem. If it can be abused....it will be. Get rid of the problem before it causes a bigger one! (Pun Intended)!

Why is it you only catch men looking at internet porn and never women?

I once checked my units rejected mail, as the computer admin, and had several messages, that had attachments. When I looked at them, they were nude pictures of one of our female sgts, she was sending them to her hubbie in Bosnia, but she entered the e-mail address incorrectly

I fixed the adddress and forwarded them, then later gave her section a class on properly sending e-mail.

and no, I did not keep copies.
