What a loss, sad day that Brad Delp is no longer with us! Do you suppose they will release the material already recorded for their next album (even though the album was not yet completed)? Heard rumors that there were some completed tracks and it sure would be great to hear it!

I'm interested too DT ... but, how will it sound without Brad? To me, it's like Journey without Steve Perry or Styx without Dennis DeYoung, it just ain't right man. Obviously the circumstances are different here, but it just won't be the same.

Check the Greatest Hits album. Has three items on it never released previously. "Tell Me" I beleive was sung by David Sikes, still like it though. "Higher Power" was composed by Sholz and Sikes but featured the voice of Brad Delp and I really like that one. Also an instrumental of "The Star Spangled Banner" which is great. If you already have the 5 studio albums I would just get these three form I-Tunes or something, worth it!

I think there are some additional Brad Delp tracks recorded for the next album that was in the works and it was those I was referring to.

I am thinking I might pick up some Barry Goudreau or RTZ. These were some of the things Brad was involved in when not recording with Boston.

Yeah RTZ is some good stuff ... I remember Brad's work with them. Isn't David Sikes the guy who did a lot of the vocals on "Rock On"? I know that Brad was used rather sparingly in that album ... and when I saw them live that tour back in 1995, Brad wasn't the main guy (which didn't seem right to me at the time!)

Their instrumental of our National Anthem is indeed really cool.

I think you tripped up before on that fact that the Fourth studio album is in fact "Walk On" and not Rock On! Get it right dude....Geeeez!

Anyway you are right...Brad had very minimal presence on that album as he was tied up with Goudreau and RTZ projects during that time. He joined back up for the fifth album "Corporate America" though! They were in the works for the sixth album when Brad "Hitched A Ride" to hopefully a better place!

Yeah ... I don't know why I keep saying that, when I have the damn album!

Maybe it's the lack of coffee.

I just got a great deal on three RTZ CD's, one Barry Goudreau CD, and Orion the Hunter CD on Ebay.....just do it Ebay! 4 of the 5 still said factory sealed! All but one are out of production and Amazon price was more than I wanted to spend!

Gotta build that ol' music library back up after years of neglect! (Busy raising three kids pretty much zaps any spare time you might have)!

My theme song anymore these days is "Coming Back to Life" by Pink Floyd from The Division Bell! I can relate with the title and it is an awesome tune!
