While its not new, it did come out within the last 3 years. Its the Van hagar single "its anout time".
Since when is KGON playing newer music???

IMHO, for a classic rock station to play new music from a classic rock band is totally exceptable. (Unless it sucks swamp water of course, IE....Gary Cherone material) However there is a problem with new material from classic rock bands in that the group itself does not usually have most of it's original members. If they are not all together, especially the lead singer, they need to rename the group for that new material and tour. The New Cars, Queen with Paul Rogers, something that identifies there is a change in the band's lineup! For example, Van Halen could easily become "The First Half Plus 2"! LOL
Foreiginer could be just "Foreign" what, is there only one member of the original group in that one!

Yah I think its acceptable also. Kgon is starting to sound a lot better in my book. They are playing some great "lost gems".
The other weekend I heard "can't stop lovin you" by Van Halen which came out in 1995. One of my favorite Van halen songs and I must say It was great hearing that song on the radio again.
