LOL

I don't listen to them so I can't attest to whether or not it's bad radio but they sure caused a bad traffic snarl over on Macadam when they were trying to haul off some kind booth or something. They were just getting onto I-405 and stuff was hanging off it all over and they had pretty much stopped at that point!

To use a classic rock term they looked "DAZED AND CONFUSED" on what to do. Maybe that's normal for them though!

Sorry, my translator had to many beers and is now on siesta or i'd do this into spanish for ya!

I understand that the other Z100 has stopped referring to itself as "New York's #1 Hit Music Station", changing to "New York's Hit Music Station" and other Clear Channel stations are following suit. I wonder if that will happen here.

Well....If you go to www.z100portland.com the sites header does indeed say "Portland's Hit Music Station". The meta-tag for the site still reads Portland's #1 Hit Music Station though but that's only in the search engines and on the IE page tab for the site.

Site Advisory Warning!
Site has "PARIS" content which may be offensive.

.....z100 is getting bad music wise...

Djfreeeesh is getting bad grammar wise

.....the jocks is wack they dont sound good...

the posts are difficult to read and repetitive

.....so z110 need flip the dial to hits and hiphop like they did in windy city b96 use be chp top40 station now they play hiphop and hits and doing well in ratings...

So, djfreesh needs to flip to a more coherent form of writing to better express his position regarding the placement of the hiphop format as a viable ratings winner within the market

.....do yall agree with me...

are we all in agreement regarding this issue?

Z100 is getting bad music-wise. The DJs are wack, they don't sound good, so Z100 needs to flip the dial to hits and hip-hop like they did in the Windy City. B96 used to be a CHP Top-40 station; now they play hip-hop and hits, and is doing well in its ratings. Do you all agree with me?

This is a very weird day: First, no one on the Seattle board knows that KMCQ has applied to raise power at Cougar Mountain and then I come here and there's no mention that Buckhead no longer works for Z100. The latter is kind of a big deal around here!

Yup Inessa Is still on Kink's Website! I would be absolutely SHOCKED if they let her go. While I'm not a huge fan of Kink, I think Inessa sounds perfect for that station.

let the new MD do weekends. Who says it's written in stone that the MD does mid days.

Like so many stations that the PD does mornings. I know some great morning guys that are lousy PDs and fantastic PDs who would stink up a morning show.....

Having the MD do middays saves one full-time airshift salary, and acknowledges that the midday shift often requires far less prep than AM/PM drive. It's also the easiest shift to track, should the MD be required elsewhere.

PDs generally do mornings because they can be off the air by 9 - then put in a 6-7 hour day being PD during "normal" business hours when the GM, Sales and promotion people need to meet with her/him. I've known a few fine PDs who do afternoons because they wanted a stronger jock in the mornings.

Inessa is probably doing the weekend shifts for a flat "per show" or horrible hourly wage, but wants to stay visible until she can find her next big gig.

What an absolute Kick in the face to Inessa, who is an EXCELLENT Talent! The MD has some HUGE SHOES TO FILL becaus she is a great talent!
Isn't KINK unionized??? If I was Inessa I would go to the Union.
So much Bullshit in Radio, it amazes me how anyone, Especially on air can stay in this ridiculous industry.
Best of Luck To Inessa, The best talent KINK has EVER HAD!!!
She'll get a gig soon because she is good!
