Heard that Don Coss (Owner-KWBY/new KSND) is going to LMA his 1460 AM station KCKX in Stayton to a Spanish Christian group and that they will be taking over the old KSND digs downtown Salem when KSND changes to simulcast or soon after. Exciting news to the Hispanic Christian community that has been dreaming/praying for something like this for years. A station in LA KLTX-AM 1390 kHz
has been on the air for years...

That doesn't really make sense.
I would have thought La Pantera Opps would move to nicer KSND Studios with a better view and Business wise with a better immage than their crappy Woodburn office/Studios

1460's signal doesn't reach downtown Salem at night.

I listened to it today for about 10 minutes and they kept callin out for some guy name haysoos.

That's not a guy, it's what you feed your livestock. It was probably an ad for (legal) farm workers to come buck alfalfa bales for $3 an hour.

Remember when we Willamette Valley kids got out of school a day or two after Memorial Day to go to work, taking our transistor radio, a sack lunch with a frozen can of pop to go pick berries and do farm work to earn $ for school clothes? Now there's barely any Oregon strawberries left since all the land is plowed under for McMansions or warehouses along I-5, and they're $25 a flat. I digress.
