A lot of clever people are having fun scamming the scammers. Got to love it.

Me too.

It would be totally great to be there when the guy opens up that package, valued at $2000!

In the old days, when I got junk mail, and it had a postage paid card or envelope, I would wrap a brick with brown paper, tape the prepaid postage card to it, and drop it in a maiilbox.

One day a man (unnamed) received a fax junk-fax. He tossed it. Next day same thing, sent a request to the return fax number to quit, no success. After a week of this he got fed up! As the return number was toll free he took 12 pieces of paper that all siad "STOP!" on them and taped them end to end. Places the beginning in the fax and dialed the number. As the first page fed through he then taped the beginning to the end and left for the day, one continuous loop of paper. Hope to hell the other end put plenty of paper in their fax!!!! LOL

ROTFL - I never thought of a brick, but I used to stuff as much shredded paper in the pre-paid envelope as would fit and send that back.

the po will not deliever a brick -- urban myth -- but they will deliver an overstuffed prepaid envelope. more than four pages in an envelope pushes the postage rate to the next weigh class.

put your junk mail contents and envelopes in them and drop in the mailbox. instant karma.

candywrappers and j witness brochures are good envelope stuffers. condoms are not -- dna -- ya really don't want grissom showing up at your door, do you?

tiny shredded paper -- like chads -- are ideal, they open the envlope and pull out a letter only to have chads fall out everywhere.

LMAO...gives me an idea. I got someone to send an envelope stuffed with hole punches and little squares from the binding machine to and it's all your fault Skep!

Ever take a fistfull of that crap and walk up to someones desk and pretend to sneeze and then blow it all over them.....funny as hell but sure makes a damn mess! Took a bit to clean it up! Worth it though!

"As the return number was toll free he took 12 pieces of paper that all siad "STOP!" on them and taped them end to end."

I did that to US Bank - all black paper ( just in case they had lots of ink ) - all day - for 4 days straight.

I was pissed.

Sure they would, if you wrap it, those cardes said, return postage guaranteed, didnt set a max.

A company my sister worked for occassionally got them, it wasnt just my idea.

Nowadays it wont work, because you cant send a package from a drop box.

Another scam, in the 60's, send a bible to someone in the soviet union, registered mail, and ensure it for about 100 dollars, they soviets wouldnt allow it ot be delivered, and you could collect your money.

Or no - wait wait - *snort* - in the 20's we used to fill the tallymaker's ink well with leprosy salve from Mr. Wigginbottom's mecurial collection.

It made the tallymaker quite cross.

BULLY!
