What a bunch of BS! WHY advertise a 20 hour week job at the Oregon coast, wanting a " semi retired broadcaster"?

Heres' what it should say:

living on Social Security?
Still pan on and on about the " good ole days of radio" ?
Want to get paid for 20 hours, while you work for 30+ ?

Want to break away from your Ham radio for a few hours a week?

WE have the job for you!

If they want quality talent to stick around, why not make it a full time gig and keep it open to EVERYONE!

Because they don't want quality talent. they probably want somebody who knows how to take readings and record spots for minimum wage.

But, you can't live anywhere near there for what they will pay. Sounds perfect for me, but the commute in is a killer!
