If you get a chance, check out "Something In The Air: Radio, Rock and the Revolution That Shaped A Generation" by Marc Fisher.

He truly captures where we've been, and how we got to where we are today. Must reading for any of us who were drawn to this medium.

Another good book is The Mansion on the Hill: Dylan, Young, Geffen, Springsteen, and the
Head-on Collision of Rock and Commerce: by Fred Goodman. Who was former editor of Rolling Stone magazine.
