It is about time for you true Bush supporters to join the Lemming Party and follow him over the clift. You can't think for yourselves and admit he can make mistakes.

Your right President Bush has made some mistakes.

For one, hes appointed two liberals to the Supreme Court.

Really? Is that a new political party, liberals? Or a religion? Or a race? What exactly is that? Or a club? Are they easy to spot in a crowd? Are they a different color?

Liberals, their easy to spot, their the ones that think in an emergency, its the governments responsibility to do everything. For instance, if a hurricane is coming, conservatives will fill up some jugs of water, get some canned goods on hand, or go somewhere inland. Liberals will have hurricane parties and if theres a flood, expect the govt to immediatly supply food, water and housing.

I used to respect Republicans for being pro-freedom, and sensible about budgets and the size of government. So what's to respect about the big-spending, imperialist, Terri-Schaivo-obsessed Bushies?

Heck of a job, Georgie!

This helps to describe the liberal media. It's taken from an e-mail I recently received:

Katie Couric, Charlie Gibson, Brian Williams and a tough old US Marine Sergeant were captured by terrorists in Iraq. The leader of the terrorists told them he'd grant each of them one last request before they were beheaded.

Katie Couric said, "Well, I'm a Southerner, so I'd like one last plate of fried chicken." The leader nodded to an underling who left and returned with the chicken. Couric ate it all and said, "Now I can die content."

Charlie Gibson said, "I'm living in New York, so I'd like to hear the song "The Moon and New York City " one last time." The terrorist's leader nodded to another terrorist who had studied the Western world and knew the music. He returned with some rag-tag musicians and played the song. Gibson was satisfied.

Brian Williams said, "I'm a reporter to the end. I want to take out my tape recorder and describe the scene here and what's about to happen. Maybe, someday, someone will hear it and know that I was on the job til the end." The leader directed an aide to hand over the tape recorder and Williams dictated his comments. He then said, "Now I can die happy."

The leader turned and said, "And now, Mr. U.S. Marine, what is your final wish?"

"Kick me in the ass," said the Marine.

"What?" asked the leader? "Will you mock us in your last hour?" "No, I'm NOT kidding. I want you to kick me in the ass," insisted the Marine.

So the leader shoved him into the open and kicked him in the ass. The Marine went sprawling, but rolled to his knees, pulled a 9 mm pistol from inside his cammies and shot the leader dead. In the resulting confusion, he leapt to his knapsack, pulled out his M4 carbine and sprayed the terrorists with gunfire. In a flash, all of them were either dead or fleeing for their lives.

As the Marine was untying Couric, Gibson and Williams, they asked him, "Why didn't you just shoot them all in the first place? Why did you ask him to kick you in the ass?"

"What!?!" replied the Marine, "and have you three lefties report that I was the aggressor?"

You guys went for the bait, thanks!

Oh, and Nwokie, you were partially correct. "Conservatives" will gather supplies FOR THEMSELVES, and "go inland" as you say.

"Liberals", otherwise known as people who care about others less fortunate, will organize a group of volunteers to go into the emergency area, help victims, and begin the rebuilding process. And stay after the "government" has left without doing much.

Just to clarify.

That's your reasoning.

My reasoning is that you must get excited when our Marines are abused by the media.

No, I really don't get excited about it the way you do when a marine gets his ass kicked in your little fake "liberals love Osama" fantasy there...

No, it's not liberals love Osama.

Liberals don't have a clue about how serious the terrorist threat is. It's another case where once again, the left focuses on defending the perpetrator and not the innocent.

Defend terrorists. To heck with the murdered.
Defend abortionists. To heck with the murdered.
Defend the killing of Terry Schiavo. To heck with the murdered.

"...Reason rules period."

Ignorance at its haughtiest.

Reason rules? If that's the case, then whose reason? The labourer in Taiwan? Or the Manhattan socialite? Stalinists, perhaps? Maybe the reason of Kim Jong Il?

Al Gore wants you to conserve energy, but he reasons there is nothing wrong with himself gobbling up more than used by many families.

Paris Hilton reasons she's a great role model for youth.

Not long ago, "scientists" reasoned that an ice age was approaching. Oops. Today, it's the precise opposite.

Those who espouse man's mighty intellect as the answer have a problem. In the left's 'it's all relative, everything is grey' world, there are no absolutes.

So whose reason, and according to whose ethics? The carnivoure, the herbivoure or the omnivoure?

When you sort that out, we can proceed to plenty of other topics, like pacifism, or defense? Pacifists reason we shouldn't have attacked Hitler's Germany or Tojo's Japan. Others reason we should have. Still others reason we should have finished the job with Russia while we were there.

Who's reason, indeed.

Whose reason, ethics? Why mine of course! Who else? By default, mine are the ones I live with, am accoutable to, etc... Nobody else defines me, or my value in this world, unless I'm foolish enough to let them.

Now a big part of that self acceptance comes with knowing one's reason is not complete. Others have the same problem, thus we share ignorance and the need for greater understanding in common.

We don't share the need to seek acceptance from others however. That's only as important as any one of us thinks it is.

What else is there?

I disagree Herb. Conservatives have questioned science endlessly, and if they were right all along, the world would still be flat. Our intellect, or lack of it, has caused much pain and misery to the human race.

I think the KSKD put it very well. If our lives are not a constantly evolving journey, with things to learn and explore, then we are simply taking up space. If one does not change with experience, one is already dead.

Can't we accept that God created the scientists so they could see how the world evolved through evolution? There is nothing to rule out that God allowed us to evolve from the apes. In fact, he will keep evolving us until he gets it right.

God has a left hand and a right hand and he uses both to hold us all. The left cannot do the job without the right, just a the right cannot do it without the left.

We need each other, right and left, and the world would not be the same without both.
