Are you commenting on the content of the article, or are you calling me personally, 'dude'?

dude, its not really to hard to see that it is indeed covered elsewhere here, oddly in a thread called:

"Heard a rumor about the purchase of CC-Eugene & Medford"

but i guess you didn't spend the extra two seconds to look over that thread before pasting.

no hating here, just good comedy that someone would say "apologies if covered elsewhere"

The name BICOASTAL is the first word of the first post of that thread. one does not need to read every post to figure out that it has already been covered.

its just interesting to me that someone would take the time to paste an article but not take the time to read more in depth about it from the many posts right here where they choose to paste.

dude.

Well, it's finally happened. I figured that eventually I would make some boo-boo that somebody else could not resist jumping all over.

Once again, my apologies. For what that's worth, which doesn't seem to be much. Or so I'm told.

Happy Monday to you too.

Oh, and by the way, I'm not a dude. Dude.

"Why do you all Dudes get all fired up about the word Dude?"

OK, I'll bite...because at my place of work it is the most over-used, crutch-phrase word of all-time. It is used as a positive (Dude!), or a negative, (Dude.....), but it is so commonplace that when two 20-30 year old males speak it becomes almost an every other word expression. Give me a break, dude! This lingo isn't exactly new...check out 1982's "Fast Times At Ridgemont High". Wasn't that a whole generation ago???

Outstanding! The fact that you used the word "ginchiest" completely made my day!

I'm hereby pulling up a chair on the old folks' porch.

Actually BiCoastal owns KFMI down in Eureka California, which up until 2000 (if I remember correctly) was a CHR station, but moved to a satellite fed Hot AC format.

They are still Top40 at night, and on the weekends though. They switch to another satellite feed that is Top 40 after 7pm or so. Which is kind of strange.

Well hell, everyone flips out with one word.

I'll keep myself PC so everyone understands that some people under 35 but over 18 has some command of the English language.

Hey, at least I'm not djfresh! I'll make sure to never show you some excitement again based on you finding a KGW article before anyone else did.

Have a nice day, wisenheimers (or wait, was that beyond some of your years as well).

I was responding to someone else....I wasn't trying to offend you personally. My question about 'dude' sprang from me being unsure if you were being sarcastic (or not). Turns out that you weren't. Thanks for being enthused. At least somebody was! :-) :-)

How long has BiCoastal owned KFMI? They aren't running things well in Eureka.

My neighbors dog appreciates the nice day wish.

I am not a fan of Wisenheimers though. Those german dogs are kind of scary.

They aren't running things well anywhere, but thats another story.
I think they have owned all of their Eureka stations for at least 8 years or so.
They all used to be owned by the "NCC Radio Group", however I think BiCoastal actually owned NCC, but operated under that name for quite some time.
