I love how Bill gets baited by these kind of analyses. A real journalist would brush them off and ignore them, but he has to go on the counterattack. The gentleman doth protest too much, methinks. |

He paints certain people and positions as villans and others as heros, and hes consistent, he doesnt flip flop. |

O'Reilly has repeatedly made statements and then denied having ever made them. That's not flip-flopping - that's LYING. He does lie consistently - I'll give him that, if you are looking for the virtue of consistency angle. I think Hitler was pretty consistently evil, too. |

The O'Reilly show is an opinion show that markets itself as "news analysis," but the problem is that a lot of people take it to be an unbiased news presentation. It has also been documented that a number of people get their news from satire shows on Comedy Central that were never intended to be real news shows. If the state of news reporting in this country ever does improve, I think that it will get a lot worse than it is today before it starts to get better. |

This analysis is a hatchet job. It doesn't offer much evidence to back up its findings. |

"Those who believe O'Reilly is a propagandist should also be offended by Keith Olbermann and Thom Hartmann." |

Victoria Taft makes Bill and Lars seem like logical thinkers. She is more ignorant of the truth than either of them. |

Herb, do you have any idea how many two-bit carpetbagging migratory morons have arrived in our fair city? They took your parking space, not the "Portlanders." The true citizens are filling the bike rack. Tom McCall had it right. Many of us long for the days before we became Whoregon, when we could breathe, find a job, and for Herb, most of all, get a blessed parking space. |

The Portland "leaders" were fairly elected by the people of Portland. The majority of people wanted Portland as it exist today. Vera was elected 3 times. Surely nobody here is suggesting the leaders defy the will of the people and please outsiders who didn't elect them, hmm? |

Vera was in bed with the developers, and thanks to almost universal business support, ran virtually unopposed in her bids for Mayor. She is not from our city, or even our state, and her outsider status was reflected in her many poor decisions. |
