So ok - if they all biked there, would you then believe in their cause?

No.

You have your mind made up. I get it already.

And how exactly are they supposed to run their most effective campaign? This is a competition afterall. It also has serious implications for all of us that more than justify the expense.

Why hobble our front runners in this way? It's not like the GOP would do the same now would they?

And that apology is still outstanding. Let me know if I can help!

Well geeze Herb, you make it sound like you are so open minded to the possiblity that the Earth is being effected by humans. You imply that you are - but everything you take the time to post about says otherwise. Here's your chance to prove my read on you as incorrect.

Herb, what would it take for you to believe that humans have had enough of an impact on the global climate to make it worth addressing with tough actions?

"Herb, what would it take for you to believe that humans have had enough of an impact on the global climate to make it worth addressing with tough actions?"

Tough actions like having partisan politicians jetting about whilst decrying others who do the same thing?

Look. I'm a sportsman. Environmentalism can be a good thing. But like anything else, balance allows for a sustained approach. If you force people to live an unrealistic lifestyle, they'll chuck the whole concept. I hear how bad extremism for right wingers. You make it sound like left wingers are immune to extremism. They're not.

"Tough actions like having partisan politicians jetting about whilst decrying others who do the same thing?"

No. Not that. Is that your only beef? That campaigning candidates are using jets? I was thinking you had more of a problem with the the costs that companies - and the public - would have to endure by tougher regulations about pollution. But heck, if that's your only beef: Flying, we'll you got us there. Flying will not stop.

Is that the victory you wanted us to give you?
