The last couple mornings, I've tried to tune in to AM 970 and haven't gotten a signal. I don't know when this started, but I've usually been able to get a clear signal from my home. Has something changed to the signal? Is AM 970 off the air?

i've been in Ptown a few times over the last few monthns and have noticed that Tom Leykis's voice seems to be shot!

can some regular listeners comment on if i have just randomly caught his show on a few bad days or if he has completely lost his voice?

I haven't listened to Leykis much for years, so it took a while for me to figure it out.

Leykis' story is that he had black mold in his
house. His voice deteriorated before he figured out it was there. When he remedied the mold problem he thought his voice would return to normal. No such luck. He sounds like an old lady.

He had an interesting style, but with is voice shot in that way, he just doesn't have the panache he had years ago.
