Boy, I tell you, there must be a lot of KINK haters in this room. Anytime ANYONE gets a gig, even if it's an APD job in Salem, you guys are falling all over one another to congratulate him or her. And now Welch gets a PD job in Market 14, and nobody has anything to say? Pathetic.

Congrats Kevin. And by extension, congrats Dennis for your Music Director getting one of the premiere AAA jobs in the country. It's a reflection of your success at KINK.

I think Kevin left kink because he couldn't take listening to The Goo Goo Dolls for the hundred millionth time. Every time I turn on Kink they are playing Goo Goo Dolls Or some stale, burnt out song from Sugar Ray. Can someone remind me again what is so great about the music on Kink??
Infact kink does not sound like a AAA station they sound more like a lite AC station.

Congrats to Kevin Welch! He's a great guy who loves AAA music. Before coming to KINK, Kevin was sharing his AAA expertise at KF95 (now known as 94.9 The River) in Boise.

heck I knew kevin when he was a little bitty high school boy. I hired him at kqen.
then when he was rustlin pigs and doing his gig in Arkansas or Louisiana or wherever it was, and he would call my wife and me crying that he wanted to come home, we would console him and tell him he will make it big and he will come back. so, do I get one call from him when he is at kink? nawwww.
I do continue to wish him all the best, I do for all of my children.
PS: sucks being bald too, I should know, I own the club.

The only thing I'd ask DC about is that very personal "incident" that he and his wife threatened some of us posters with (legal action) if we persisted in discussing it online. I still think it was true, even if I've forgotten the particulars.

I saw "Spamalot" when it came thru my city. Very funny. Laughed my ass off. Bought a Dark Knight doll for my office toys. And yes, I didn't realize it 'til Tdanner pointed it out, this was indeed a musical, and I went out of my way to pay money to go see it. There's a first time for everything.
