Actually none of those buses used "alternative" fuels, they used nothing but good old 3mpg diesel.

Her new "bio-diesel" narcissism bus uses 80% diesel, 20% recycled vegetable oil, which used as much fossil fuels to produce on a gallon per gallon basis.

In other words, the 3 mpg that her new bio-diesel narcissism tour uses exactly the same amount of fossil fuels as her old fleet of tour buses did!

3mpg, with diesel? on a bus? asumming its a dual axle in tandem bus, not a lighter weight single axle, the most the bus can weigh is only 46,000 lbs which thousands of pounds more than any fully loaded bus ever weighs. And gets 3 MPG? Heck, filty old semis pulling 80,000 lbs gets 4 to 5 mpg.

care to cite a source and tell me the name of the diesel engine in the bus?

If the bus indeed gets 3mpg, a gasoline engine with enough torque to move the bus as the diesel engine would get about 1.5 to 2 MPG.

Oh for heavens sake, you pointed to a study that shows CITY buses on their routes making dozens of stops per hour, stopping at lights, never approaching highway speeds. A bus that spends most of its time not moving always gets "bad" fuel mileage.

Sheryl Crow's bus doesn't stop dozens of times an hour on a trip coast to coast.

Provide evidence SHERYL CROW'S bus or a bus driven as Crow's bus does on tour gets 3MPG!

Troll logic: 1 bus, driven under the worst possible fuel economy conditions, gets 3mpg on biodiesel. Therefore, all busses everywhere get 3 mpg on biodiesel.

I'll follow to the "logical" conclusion... because some bus, somewhere, used B20 (80% petrodiesel), therefore Sheryl Crow's bus must have used B20. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this troll logic! It's much easier to find cites for your arguments when they don't have to be actually connected in any meaningful way.
