Another djfwesh hit and run....take his license to post..... I'm all for another spanish station, but only if it's over modulated, has a lot of echo and reverb, and sounds like the announcer is at the bottom of a steel barrel

"Yo estas de acuerdate con el senores alfredo muchas radios necesitas en oregon que hablan espano." Sorry, I don't speak AM. Just a joke, people! I like the black talk shows (much more fun to listen to than the Conservative white dudes) and the blues and lots of other stuff on KBMS. It's a very unique station and I think we need more of those.

DJfrresh: You are becoming an embarrassment to yourself and to radio. Posts on your KPSU website indicate that you actually know how to spell -- even if you can't figure out punctuation. Strongly suggest you find another board to post your inane comments. Here you just reenforce the an image guaranteed to keep you from any job in radio. Respect yourself.

Why don't y'all stop answering him? Stop commenting when he posts something. Ignore him. Let him be the only one that posts on a thread he starts. He never answers or discusses anything he posts beyond the original. Just ignore him and maybe, just maybe, he will eventually get the hint!!!! Doubtful. But leave him in his own world.

Actually, Al Sharpton's show on 1480 AM has surprised me. Aside from the Tawana Brawley deal, the guy can carry on a pretty decent conversation with his guests and callers. Herb

Yeah the HD2's are in brutal competition over this format (well, not really, but it's fun to pretend). I listen to both KYCH's "Love Train" and KRSK's "Funkytown". I like KBMS's song selection more (more old stuff).

"Herb! My man! I gotta give you props for dat!" Thank you. I'm glad to see that it isn't isn't 'pile on Herb' day around here...at least yet. Reverend Al has more substance, or at least he delivers his message better, than Jesse Jackson. He also deserves credit, a la' Bill Cosby, for acknowledging that not everything can be blamed on race alone. And while I still grapple with the Tawana Brawley thing, maybe he was duped like everybody else on that one. I don't know. And even though Reverend Al is a bit of a grandstander, I find it fabulous that he's willing to discuss politics with Glenn Beck, Shaun Hannity and other conservatives. The guy's got more guts than Oregon's governor. Herb

"ability to speak compellingly has no correlation to the speakers inherent character or integrity." Perhaps not. But for a guy attending college, well, I'm glad I'm not grading his papers. Maybe he's not attending though.

KBMS has a fringe signal almost everywhere. Keep in mind that their city-grade contour can only reach halfway to KBPS's tower, no matter what!
