Well ill do my darndest to make an appearance. I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel and and putting down engineered wood flooring. Oh and no heat either. Had to take out the pellet stove and waiting for the new gas stove to be installed. But as April 1st was my idea I will try. As far as posting it that's up to y'all. I don't know why not. You've posted two little swarray's without incident right? Just look for a fairly large slightly balding middle-aged dude and that'd be me!

There was a bit more radio talk than political talk, and sometimes there was more than one conversation going on at a time. Mitt Romney's name came up but I couldn't get into that conversation...

Actually I thought (too late) to introduce myself as Herb, but Jason and Alfredo had met me before so it would have been harder to pull off. I'll bet I could have played the conservative pretty well, though. Can probably toss out my share of Nixon quotes, too. :-)

Really, Herb, you should have been there. The animal sacrifices, tree worship and extra-marital hanky-panky was only a small part of an action packed evening. Satan kept buying everyone drinks, and before long, Hillary Clinton did a table dance. Then we took magic mushrooms, sat around naked, and discussed Marx and Engels.

Actually, it was several discussions interwoven that mostly focused on radio, the old days, and what we would do with a candle and a million dollars. Most of the time, we were busy making new friendships, and the rest of the time we were learning and laughing. You really would have had a nice afternoon with some great folks.

Yes, this was indeed a good thing. I walked in last, introduced myself, and then to everyone there. What a great group of people! You are all missing out if you don't attend the next one. Everyone is special in thier own way, just like eveyone else. (dumb joke).

Anyway, it was great to meet you all, and Merkin, thanks for setting it up. BTW, Merkin, are you home yet? Don't get in trouble again...

BTW2: The steaks were really goooooood....

I'd say that this was a pretty big success! Thank you Mrs. Merkin! The only thing missing was an appearance by DJfrresh so that he could have provided us with a decoder ring to help us understand his posts.

Thanks Guys! It really WAS fun! I was so nervous and thought, "Oh, I'll stay for an hour or so", and we all stayed quite a while (6:30).

So, we really missed those of you who couldn't make it, we made plans for Trixter's beach house party, talked trash, shared mysterious secrets, discussed hummus, a wee bit of politics, computers, emails, and ate tater-tots and drank pop, coffee and beer. We think we spotted a pal of DJfressssh outside with his pants belted down below his buttcheeks. I don't want to share too much, since I want you all to wonder and yearn deeply for the next one, but it really was very friendly and comfortable, right, DT? Before introductions, it was fun to think "who is this approaching???".

After I left, I thought of about a million questions I would've loved to ask each of you attendees;

HerrB, I did think of you briefly, on the way home while listening to KOIN/CBS news on the radio. They said Hilary has already raised $23 million for her run, setting a new record. Something like 30 people paid $2300 each to take an hour-long spin (HA!) class at a gym with Bill. Hilary made a couple million in 3 appearances in one day, but he's also raking it in for her. Say what you want, but he's still popular and an big asset to her.

Anyway, thanks for coming, gentlemen, let's do it again, sooner than later. We have a big list of who else we all want to meet!

Glad the car was running....the Ford Tractor is a little hard to paralell park with the mower attached! It was a good time and a great group of people! Look forward to the next time! Thanks M for putting it together!
