With the internet BLOWING up... (I think all us at Clear Channel have been in those meetings the last couple days) we have to do MORE to send people to our websites! How about an ONLINE TV show?! Please take a second and check out our new WEBISODE and give me some feedback! Thanks everybody! |

Color me a tad conservative towards keeping the license, but I'm thinking the blatant drug reference/endorsement could make the Mays family a little jumpy. |

Do you really think a shot of a guy blowing out smoke, on youtube, who isn't employed by the station would make someone lose a license? I'm asking honestly... because I will take that out if that's the case. I want to do these, but I want to do them within the confines of the FCC. Does the FCC monitor websites? |

Raizin -you have a copy of High Times on the table, the subject flicks his lighter, leaves the frame and comes back blowing smoke. While it isn't explicit,it isn't much of an implicit stretch in this post-Janet Jackson era of FCC overreaction. The FCC doesn't monitor YouTube, unless some person with a stick up their butt and a grievance against the licensee calls their attention to it. At that point, it doesn't matter who was or wasn't an employee. It's a promotion for the station. |

Would it not be wise to run anything like that through the legal department prior to actually turning it out. There may be problems that you would not normally consider! Best thing with anything these days is "CYA"! I cannot stress "CYA" enough! It is a rule that should be first and foremost in most everything you do! |
