I remember hearing about this provision, thinking it's a solid check. The false Iraq authorization really should not carry into Iran. That's a seperate burden, far from being met.

Missing, you can't have 435 people in charge of foreign policy.

Actually, you can have that number of people checking bad policy, and that's the point.

All things considered, we know the Resident is just not good at War or (most) policy decisions; therefore, the check is just.
