From All Access: Former FOX NEWS RADIO talk show host and present WHITE HOUSE Press Secretary TONY SNOW told reporters FRIDAY that a small growth has been found in his abdomen and that he will have the growth removed in surgery to be performed MONDAY. SNOW said that there is no indication that the growth is a recurrence of the colon cancer for which he was treated in 2005 while working in radio at FOX. While he's in surgery, can they also remove his head from his ass? Ba-dum bum Add your own punchline!

Is it really in good taste to be mocking the illness of a cancer survivor? You might as well be making fun of Elizabeth Edwards's recent struggles with cancer. Andrew

Maybe Gore can use some of the money he made growing tobacco, to help Ms Edwards.

I'm 1000% with Andrew on this. I feel deeply for the agony the Edwards are going through as well as Tony Snow.

As much as I can't stand Tony Snow, and I really, really can't, I wish him well and hope the surgery goes well.

Never listened to his talk show, but I must say, I think Tony's doing a great job as White House press secretary, especially compared to the two guys he followed. I just don't like the people he's working for... Andrew

Agree about Snow's work so far. He's good (not great) at what he does - clearly better than McClellan. I just wish he would use his talents for good, rather than... That said, illnesses such as these should always be well above politics. Here's to Snow's good health - hope the procedure goes well.

Cancer has taken the lives of my sister, two uncles, a grandmother. My mother survived breast cancer and thyroid cancer. My brother has had thyroid cancer and is doing fine. Here's to successful surgery and outpatient success for both Snow and Edwards. Today my sister would have survived the cancer she had over 40 yrs ago.

Bush has made some very bad appointments during his presidency, but Tony Snow isn't one of them. Putting Snow is that position was a brilliant move, though probably an accident.

Wow... it's not like I said I hope the guy dies or anything. If I read it correctly, it said it was NOT cancer. And I didn't say anything about Edwards, so don't put words in my mouth. Jesus, lighten up people.

Anytime there's a "growth" found in the body of a cancer survivor, you worry. It's just not something to be made light of, that's all. Andrew

Tony Snow. Yeah. Well. Yeah. That's about it. I guess he's got a shot. Good thing it's not AIDS, I guess.
