Seems the Post is beginning to manage itself differently. I don't know where this is coming from yet, but I don't like it one bit. Cut rate, non government contractors are not gonna be good mail carriers.
We have a postage fee that runs the Post just fine. There is zero reason to engage in this.
How much you wanna bet, some temp employment umbrella organization lobbied for this to get a piece of the Postal pie?
Anyone know more?

Some routes are already contracted out in the Portland Area.
Most of them have occurred where there has been a large expansion of business or substancial distance between residences in rural areas.
It just might be that this may occur more now in areas where large new developments occur in the Beaverton Zip Code.
