...debate, commercial free on the date of choice for GOP!

Fricking sweet!

They are more than happy to combine forces with FOX, for some fair and balanced reporting to boot!

Nicely done!

That costs money and AAR doesn't have any.

Cute gesture, but it seems more than a publicity gimmick than an offer the Republican Parties would take seriously. Broadcast to WHOM? To a bunch of liberal radio listeners? Aren't most people going to want to watch the debateson TV, not listen to them on the radio? Why would the Republicans care?

Oh, I'm sure they have the money to host the debate. The only answers to those kinds of questions is "yes." Any necessary sponsorship can be easily handled and differentiated from commercials. No brainer.

What I find completely and totally hilarious is the AAR president being perfectly willing to incorporate other media types and extend the quality airtime to the GOP.

AAR has absolutely nothing to lose in this regard! They've got the higher ground, having watched FOX get marginalized for their long and growing track record of actually being a mouthpiece while representing themselves as "fair and balanced"!

AAR is all about leftie politics, advocacy entertainment, news and commentary. No biggie there. It's up front, honest and fills it's niche nicely.

Fox, is all about rightie politics. But for the fact they do video, they are very similar to AAR in this regard. Again, no biggie, but for one little nagging issue:

that pesky false representation!

Gotta love it.

And the beatings continue for FOX. Will morale improve, behavior maybe?

One just has to wonder...
