No surprise, yet again, the FBI misused the Patriot Act:

We are safer because citizens are watching out for other citizens, not because of ethnic witch-hunts, wiretapping or scooping people into unmarked vans.

Of course they would. The FBI has for years been one of the most incompetent organizations around.
