Tim savage was one of the main reasons I listend to KUFO. More talented and interesting than that Awful Marconi show! The New Pd at KUFO has offically "gayed' up KUFO. Im sorry but why in the hell is Marconi spending his entire show talking about Anna Nicole Smith??? Seroiously nobody gives a flying F! Talk about NOT relating to your demo. Kufo has gone down the tube, and another dumb decision made by managment. I have taken KUFO off my presets, hopefully a new afternoon show will be coming soon!

What did he do....have an imagination or talent? CBS does not hold for that sort of person with those attributes! I wonder how long it will take them to scrub the website...I still see he has an email address listed. Hal 9000 will be replaceing him right? Good Luck Man!

I can't imagine Marconi will be around much longer, his ratings are awful and his show is boring.

Which begs the question, what radio show ISN'T boring? In terms of local radio, there is not ONE show worth listening to anymore. Mark and Brian are tired, Nelson has done his Homer Simpson impression one too many times and the gay pirate thing was funny in 1998. Marconi has always sucked, Savage is trying WAY too hard or WAS trying way too hard, Cort and Fatboy's political schtick and movie assery is only funny when someone is high or really bored, Dr. Doug and Skippy, they're called Dr. Doug and Skippy, thats enough. The playhouse is a lame attempt at being the Howard Stern show. And all the shows in between consist of liner jocks and radio program students hoping for their big break. Furthermore, to get all fired up about Tim Savage being fired is like being upset because you lost your favorite penny. In closing, FM radio is crap. Thank you.

You could advance to the next level and listen to Bruce Murdock.(Actually, you'd have to skip about 3 levels.)

God...the fangs really do come out. SOMEONE LOST THEIR JOB. We should at least give them that respect. If it was Intel laying off people, would you complain that they didn't engineer the chips properly?

Well, according to the UFO website, Cort & Fatboy are now on 7-Mid. Seems like it was just the elimination of an unnecessary position. Too bad a talented jock had to take the hit. Savage is a good jock. He'll be fine.

Hey guys, Tim Savage here. I know I don't really know any of you guys, but I really need some help. If you can send some money, any money, to the following address, I would appreciate it. I owe a lot of money to some people for some stuff that I'm really not proud of, and if they don't get their money, things are going to get a lot worse. I've already sold my car, my TV, and my designer jeans, but that only covered about half of my debt. My friend at the station will pick up any donations for me, as I currently don't have a home address. Tim Savage 2040 SW 1st Portland, OR 97201 PLEASE HELP

"ChickenJuggler- Please explain the Emerson comment for us slow-witted types(yes, I looked at Rick's and KCMD's sites... still confused)" "Shop Talk" is a post regarding occasional guest Tim Savage's firing. And the picture in the upper right hand corner is clickable. Click it. www.rickemerson.com . Also, I like how Rick stands up for his buddies in his own subtle way. It counts and doesn't go unnoticed by me.

I thought it was kind of funny. Heck, even Tim may thing some of it was funny. His Myspace page seems to show that he knows it's not great to get fired, but that he'll land on his feet. Had the shoe been on the other foot, he may have typed something similar. I don't know what I am talking about at all. It's just a guess.

I gotta admit I am a bit saddend to See Tim Savage go, I am also sad to see Kufo go off my car presets. I thought the stuff Tim did on The Pubic Access channel was freakin halarious.

Michael Wood was a loss to the radio community as well. I always liked his afternoon show on "Rock Hits" when it was on the air and before the station flipped! Good Luck Michael

That IS Tim Savage, CJ. Beano: Tim is STILL doing stuff on Comcast 14, we're filming stuff for some skits tomorrow, so that's not going anywhere.
