Whoa, Radioblogman. You even used FoxNews as a source. I'm impressed, because if even Fox is saying it, and I'm a huge Fox fan....well....then that means I can't blame the lefty press. Ok, Good point. Herb

Heh heh. I'll have to wait for the day when Fox says something negative about Nixon, Herb, and rub it in your face. :-) Andrew

"That's just a little more than I could take. Anything but that!" Rest easy, Herb, they haven't fired Roger, yet. "The guy to watch in all this is the pooh-bah of Fox News, Roger Ailes. Nixon's onetime aide guides a TV network that is Nixonian to its bones -- Fox's raison d'etre is to bash liberals, real or imagined. But Ailes can't be insensible to the war's effects on Republican electoral prospects. If Fox News were to break with Bush on Iraq, that would be proof positive that even the Nixonians believe there's no way, politically, they can salvage this miserable war." http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/01/16/AR2007011601336. html

Why would anyone want to say anything bad about President Nixon? Easily ome of our top 10 presidents, maybe even top 5.

'Easily [one] of our top 10 presidents, maybe even top 5.' When it comes to international politics, Nwokie, today even many democrats would agree with you. The longer Mr. Nixon has been gone, the higher he is esteemed. In another 50 years, he may be up there with Lincoln and Washington. I can always dream. Herb

I gotcha. He was a Quaker and probably got a nice place just down the way from Benjamin Franklin. Of course, Franklin hangs out with Einstein, Tesla and da Vinci, so his house and workshop are hopping almost 24 hours a day. As penance, every radio in Nixon's house plays Phil Ochs and John Lennon songs, so there is no solace, even in headphones. Still, he has a real nice spread. One of the few decent ranch houses in heaven, or for that matter, the universe.
