I would have never heard about this had you not worked so hard to find it. You're really having to scrape that barrel for stuff like this. It's so transparent that it's funny.

Indeed it is, Herb. Since she has that whole yuppie Yankee pose down now, it would be nicely topped with a matching woolen ensemble. As the winter winds blow, she will need a nice scarf to go with her mittens. She has proven to be untrustworthy, but apparently is not ungustworthy. I hope she stays warm and does good work in the Senate, because as a Presidential candidate, well, to paraphrase Herman Melville, she blows. I hope the Democrats don't blow it by trying to breeze past her fundamental weaknesses as a leader. Her potential as a candidate has been blown out of proportion. She blew it with the American people by enabling the shrub to start a war. She would have avoided a move for impeachment by simply blowing her husband. The four winds are howling these days. Blow is boss. Everybody is into it. Our current leader, the shrub, likes a cold sixer of Lone Star, boxcars of blow and has blown up any chance of America winning hearts and minds around the world. We need a new wind, a wind of change. *Casey Kasem voice* Here's a long distance dedication. This next tune is for two old friends and longtime listeners, Curious George and Capitol Hillary, it's by a Minnesota native and American icon, Bobby Z. "How many roads must a man walk down Before you call him a man? Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail Before she sleeps in the sand? Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly Before they're forever banned? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many times must a man look up Before he can see the sky? Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have Before he can hear people cry? Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows That too many people have died? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many years can a mountain exist Before it's washed to the sea? Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist Before they're allowed to be free? Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head, Pretending he just doesn't see? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, The answer is blowin' in the wind."

>>>"I would have never heard about this had you not worked so hard to find it. You're really having to scrape that barrel for stuff like this. It's so transparent that it's funny." Not exactly so CJ. Geffen is a powerful guy who raises a lot of Hollywood cash. He's so unhappy over the Mark Rich thing he is working hard to switch the Hollywood cash to Obama, and he's doing it. Hillary is pretty uptight. It's all over the talk shows. I don't think Herb had to look very far. It hit him in the face.

Warner, you're ignoring the meat. Hollywood is switching from supporting the Clintons to backing Obama. That's a big deal. Has nothing to do with Conservatives. >>>"Let me guess; Hannity, O'Rielly, Lars, and Rush, right?" What else is there that's viable?

LOL @ Missing. Noise, like a tuba full of water. I also agree, Warner, you and me, heck all of us and the fencepost are in for a helluva show. We are going to see the destruction of one or perhaps both political parties in the next handful of months -- if they stay careless. Both sides have saddled up a powder keg and love a good cigar. David Geffen made a heap of money from John Lennon and Kurt Cobain -- who would have just turned 40 -- when they died. I think that when he backs a candidate, however, he would rather they had a chance of surviving the race. Whatever he wants to say is his Constitutional right and if it shoots him or anyone else through their shoes, well, that is politics. Obama is young, fresh and new. Hollywood is built on young, fresh and new. The old guard only sticks around if they really work themselves to death or have a cult following. Hillary has neither an illustrious body of work, nor rabid panty -- nor boxer, nor rose -- tossing fans. Obama is a star on the rise. Hillary is coming downstairs to the policemen and reporters, and all the while she keeps muttering about Cecil B. DeMille. My ultimate female candidate would be as sassy as Ann Richards, as efficient and organized as Carol Kester (is Marcia Wallace available?) and as brave and selfless as Rosa Parks. Silly as it seems, I think that each one of us would also like to see a bit of our own Mom, like we can often see a bit of our Dad in a candidate. Joan of Arc and Amelia Earhart would be on the list, but they didn't wind up having a good time. I wouldn't hire Hillary to manage a restaurant, so why in God's name would I give her the button?

Two wrongs never make a right. Everybody has free enough speech to slam one another, but that does not mean it should be done. Far better to counter with solid facts and support for one's person or position. Always have the high ground that way. Trading tit for tat simply marginalizes both parties. Watch how Thom handles Lars for an excellent example of this. Additionally, I don't want a President that does not grok these simple things.
