I play for fun and with fake money. Pokerstars. I play with friends, in person, often. While the online games are different ( people chase their straights and flushes and I get nailed on the river ) it keeps my chops up.

Yes. Both my wife and I play. It's great. She is actually ranked online. I'm pissed huge at the GOP, as is a significant percentage of what used to be a Republican leaning poker population at least 40 million strong. Let's just say legislating morality got a whole lot less popular. The fake money games are really not representative of online poker in general. People will all in at any time, for any reason. Very difficult to actually pay the game in that scenario. Some of the tournaments, that are both not offered often and that lead to real table oppertunities do end up being decent experiences, if you get past the first round or two. The other games, at significant buy-ins are a lot of fun, and actually begin to resemble solid table poker play.
