This from All Access: --Station Owner Says Cross Placed Atop His Tower Is Hate Crime-- Someone placed a cross atop the 200 foot tower of Camax Communications, Adult Standards WECM-A (Memories 1490) Milton, FL and investigators are looking into where the act was related to the owner of the station being Jewish. Owner Baron of Fulwood told the Pensacola News-Journal that the Cross damaged wiring on the tower and affected the stations signal. He said that he considers the cross-placing a hat crime (although the police at this time are treating the incident as vandalism) and noted that he has gotten anonymous anti-semitic phone calls. Inside Radio additionally reports: Local police have custody of the cross and are checking it for fingerprints. The illegal tower-climber who planted the four-foot cross also damaged part of the wiring at the tower, diminishing the stations signal by 10 miles. The Pensacola News-Journal additionally reports: From Mr. Fulwood saying "We called in an engineer last weekend and spent about $2,000 trying to figure out if there was something wrong with the transmitter inside, to no avail" Fulwood said. _______________________________________________________________ Tried to make a link to this story but for some reason it wouldn't work. Thanks, Craig. It is too bad that gravity didn't turn this into an ironic chuckle when he or she was up in the sky. Disgusting.

Kq4: Thanks! Interesting, this is not what I was trying to link. Same paper but a day later and a different headline, plus the story is now a quarter as large as it was.
